Mary’s response to the Angel Gabriel was her famous ”Fiat”~ Let it be Done. This acceptance of God’s will in her life was expressed in different ways throughout her life. This retreat will centre on Mary in the Scriptures. It will focus on how, in different ways her “Fiat” was lived out in all the circumstances of her life, from the Annunciation to Pentecost. The retreat will reflect on how this makes her the perfect model for the church of every generation – including today.
Retreat begins Friday evening, May 2, with first presentation at 7:00 pm and ends with 10:00 am Mass on Sunday morning, May 4 followed by Rosary Procession to Our Lady of Grace Shrine.
